What is DevFlo?

DevFlo digs through your git activity, CI/CD, and issue tracker — past and present — and tells you what's actually happening with how your team ships software — how long PRs sit around, how often you're deploying, where things get stuck. If you've used Swarmia, LinearB, or Apache DevLake, it's in that same family.

When using these tools, the bit that stood out to me was that they tend to be very opinionated on how these metrics are calculated and it's sometimes difficult to know what you're actually measuring. Different teams can have wildly different processes, so I wanted to build something a little more flexible and transparent!

Should you read this?

This blog will cover pretty much every part of the stack (eventually): domain and DNS, IaC with Terraform, ArgoCD, cost control, a Go API, GitHub OAuth, and whatever else comes up along the way. I'll be trying to do all of this the right way (albeit my opinionated version of "right"). If any of that sounds useful to you, stick around.
